We stayed one day there in Nov. 2012. Staffs were friendly and helpful. The room is small and basic, but with a lovely balcony and you can enjoy nice sea view from the room. The beach was crowded so we enjoyed staying inside room or on the balcony. The villas is right beside the pier but we didn't hear any noise from our room ( No.6) in the morning. It's a 15mins walk to the main beach.
The bed sheet was clean but the quilt wasn't. And the towel didn't looked clean. It will be perfect if they are renewed.

We liked... Nothing
Bad location - Far from Everything everywhere Noisy - Near Main Pier on Samed and along the track with many pick ups Smelly - Many boats nearby and their diesel smell... Rooms quite OK for cleanness, this was a minimum... but dirty around bungalows it is a real garbage's storage - Many plastic bottles, papers, snacks packages - all these not brought by sea water but thrown by costumers and nobody to pick up to make it look like clean a little bit.... Even not that expensive for Samed Island... it is already too expensive for what we got - 40 to 50 % less on the total amount should be the price to pay, not more... Definitively a bad experience - the first on several stays on the Iland since few years.

What a pleasant stay, no complaints whatsoever. Good food, terrific service and breathtaking view of the ocean. Convenient and ideal location a short walk from the beach. Set walk from restaurants and bars, efficient and attentive staff. Couple of restaurants and bars nearby...

The room had particularly nice views of the sea. Its location right next to restaurants and cafés was great. - Sidewalk Cafe, which was a 10-15 minutes' walk from the hotel, was a lovely spot for coffee and treats.

My second stay at Sunrise this year was even better than my first. What I really like about this place is that the staff all have time for you and do things with a smile. The rooms are spotlessly clean. The cooked English breakfasts are great with proper bacon and sausages and this time I had a flat screen TV in my room (don't thing that was there before). It's really good value.
